Cases between the parties in a construction project often involve considerable risk and large sums of money and require a particularly professional and solution-oriented approach.

In the initial stages of a project, we assist with the negotiation and conclusion of contracts for construction work as well as technical advice. We also assist with public procurement procedures, and in setting up cooperation and aligning expectations between the parties.

During the construction project and following its completion, we act as a legal sounding board as and when required, for example in matters such as how to handle construction delays, demands for extra payment, snag lists and expert appraisals.

Our focus is on securing progress of the project and, if possible, avoiding conflict while keeping an eye on the consequences of any given approach in terms of finances and time.

If conflict becomes unavoidable, we assist by securing the best possible position for the client. We have substantial experience with technically complex expert appraisals, and we regularly conduct cases before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and the Danish courts.
