Frederik Bue Johnsen

Frederik became a co-owner of Gangsted in 2018. For more than 15 years, he has specialized in construction law, public procurement and planning and environmental law. Furthermore, Frederik specializes in conflict resolution and regularly conducts cases within his areas of specialization before the Danish Building and Construction Arbitration Board and the Danish courts.
Prior to joining Gangsted, Frederik worked for the legal advisor to the Danish Government. He represents several public authorities in matters regarding construction law, including the conclusion of contracts above and below the threshold values. His clients also include public housing organizations, professional and private real estate developers, construction companies and technical consultants.
In addition to practicing law, Frederik was previously an external lecturer, teaching civil procedure at the University of Copenhagen. He regularly gives lectures on topics related to construction and conflict resolution, and he has authored a book on expert appraisals (Syn og skøn i praksis), published by Polyteknisk Forlag in 2016.
Frederik has a Master of Law degree from the University of Copenhagen, he obtained his license to practise law in 2008, and obtained the right to appear before the Danish High Court in 2011.
